Electronic Deposits with Bruin Direct

It's Your Money…Only Faster!!!

BruinDirect is the fastest, most convenient, and eco-friendly (save trees) method of getting your Billing and Accounts Receivable (BAR) refund electronically deposited to your personal checking or savings accounts. Since BruinDirect deposits are sent at least two days prior to check refunds this is always the fastest method.

Go to www.sfs.finance.ucla.edu/Pdf/bruindirectform.pdf for the authorization form. Send the completed form, along with a current voided check, to:

UCLA Bill

All students are assigned a BAR account which records all charges and payments (excluding housing) associated with registration, along with other service charges (e.g., health insurance) that are assessed to students. An electronic bill (eBill) is produced monthly and can be viewed on URSA.

Students must pay all charges in full by the 20th of the month* following the posting date of the charge. Registration fee payment deadlines for 2008-09 are as follows:

Spring 2008		March 20, 2008
Fall 2008		September 19, 2008
Winter 2009		December 19, 2008
Spring 2009		March 20, 2009

*If the 20th falls on a weekend or holiday, the due date is the last business day prior to the 20th.

Please note

• If registration fees are not paid in full by the payment deadline a late registration fee is assessed, and classes will be dropped in accordance with the drop class deadline (see the Calendar for class drop dates specific to each term).
• Students receive twice-monthly courtesy email reminders prior to payment deadlines.
• Students can now give select access to parents, guardians, or others whom they want to view their student information and even pay their bills.
