| UCLA Cub Tours -
General Information
The Cub Tours Program (formerly known as the Student Recruiters Program) is designed to provide prospective students with a view of campus life through the eyes of a UCLA student. Cub Tour Guides meet with students of different ages to help them become aware of the possibilities of a higher education. We outreach to students by talking to them about our UCLA experiences to motivate them to attend college. We do this through campus tours, student panels, informational fairs, school visits, and much more. And it all takes place here on campus!
We also collaborate with other organizations and programs on campus to promote higher education. These events include "Scholars Day" (free food), "Overnight Program," "I'm Going to College" days (free tickets to basketball and football games!!)," and much more.
The UCLA Cub Tours Program not only administers to student awareness, but in many aspects it represents the UC System itself. Cub Tour Guides are educators as well as mentors helping out Southern California youth.
UCLA Cub Tours is a volunteer student organization under the auspices of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Relations With Schools.
