Computational and Systems Biology*

• One year of general chemistry with lab for the major
• One semester of organic chemistry
• Two years of calculus
• One year of biology with lab for the major (cellular, molecular, genetic)
• One and one-half years of calculuc-based physics for the major
• One course in introduction to computer science or introduction to computer programming

*Students are classified as pre-computational and systems biology until they complete the preparation courses.
