Heading south, you'll find the Young Research Library. With more than 3 million volumes, it is the largest of a campus-wide network of libraries serving programs of study and research in many fields. Designed primarily for graduate and faculty research, it has an extensive collection of materials geared toward the humanities and social sciences. UCLA's library system contains more than 7.1 million volumes, held in two general collections and 11 special-subject libraries.
