Inverted Fountain

Inverted Fountain (1968) is a campus landmark that was modeled after the potholes in the streams of Yellowstone Park. Ten thousand gallons of water are recycled each minute. It is a popular place on campus where students sit, sun, and relax. In the past, USC students have dyed the water red and put detergent in the water as pranks before the big football game. Additionally, graduating seniors celebrate in the fountain after completing their last final exams.
